Dough Bloom Bakery

Commercial fit-out — artisan bakery

Overview

A complete bakery concept where the brand identity and the interior were developed as one cohesive experience. Sculptural Art Deco curves, dramatic proportions and a refined black, cream and gold palette present the baked products as the focal point — while the customer journey stays clear, generous and comfortable.

The Brief

Challenge, approach, outcome

01

The challenge

The client did not have a brand — they had a product. Everything else, from the name on the window to the room it is sold in, had to be invented together and feel inevitable. Art Deco drama also carries a commercial risk: curves and pattern compete for attention, and in a bakery nothing is allowed to upstage the bread.

02

Our approach

Identity and interior were designed as one project by one team. The palette was fixed first — black, cream and gold with a deep green counter body — then applied consistently to the logo, the packaging, the aprons and the joinery, so the room and the brand quote each other. The architecture does its work at the edges: sculpted portal walls and patterned stone borders frame the space, while every horizontal surface is kept calm so the product reads as the display.

03

The client’s goal

A bakery that customers photograph before they order, a brand that works from shopfront to coffee cup, and a plan that serves a morning queue without breaking the spell.
