A sophisticated family twin house in New Cairo, designed around rich natural materials, sculptural furniture and warm layered lighting. Deep wood tones, expressive burgundy marble and textured plaster balance contemporary elegance with real comfort — an inviting home with a strong, distinctive identity.
Warm luxury is the easiest style to get wrong: one shade too dark and the house turns heavy, one accent too many and it turns loud. The brief asked for a strong identity built on deep wood and burgundy stone — in a family home that still had to feel light on a summer afternoon and calm on a school night.
The palette was layered by weight: textured plaster and pale upholstery carry the surfaces you touch, warm timber panelling carries the walls, and the burgundy enters only as stone — the veined dining slab, the backlit onyx band under the television — so the richest note is always mineral, never paint. Sculptural pieces do the personality work: an oak console like a piece of joinery-sculpture, curved dining chairs, one patterned armchair. Everything else holds the line.
A twin house with a signature — rich enough to feel bespoke, calm enough to live in daily, and one burgundy thread running from the dining slab to the last cabinet handle.
Warm and layered: cove halos wash the panelling, glass-front cabinets glow shelf by shelf, a linear crystal chandelier floats over the dining table, and the backlit burgundy onyx band under the media wall gives the lounge its ember after dark.
